Hybride Processes and Hybride Ceramics

Thursday, August 22, 2019

The Working Group Process Engineering of the German Ceramic Society (DKG) has prepared a conference programme for 3–4 December 2019 in Erlangen/DE on “Hybride Processes and Hybride Ceramics” (details www.dkg.de – conference language is German).

Ongoing development in combination of different process technologies and the resulting new options for product design are the main focus. Additionally, examples of new hybride materials will be presented. Further topics are CAM-based process design, new possibilities with sensor-actuator integration, and modelling. The aim is to approach component manufacturers and users of ceramic process technologies who want to know more about opportunities for functional optimization of products, which are made by powder-based process routes and are ready to adapt digitalization in their existing concepts.
