OxiMaTec GmbH has been founded in 2005. Its core competence is based on the material and process development know how in combination with machining competence for highly complex geometrical design. OxiMaTec is specialised in the development of tailored materials for new applications. Transformation toughened and platelet reinforced materials based on alumina or zirconia are their speciality. The new zirconia matrix materials show high strength and fracture toughness. Furthermore, these materials do not show the hydrothermal instability as it is well-known for yttria stabilised zirconia. All materials developed within OxiMaTec are manufactured either by pressing/milling methods or by ceramic injection moulding processes. All processing steps are made in house, i. e. material composition as well as the feedstock for injection moulding are made in house with own recipes. The moulds for CIM come from the sister company “Graveurbetrieb Leonhardt”. Finally the ceramic parts are analysed within the analytical laboratory by different methods, including computer tomography investigations. Due to the fact that all materials are composed in house, it belongs to OxiMaTec’s core competences to supply coloured materials and products to watch and jewellery industry. Medical products are mainly based on alumina, zirconia and platelet reinforcement. For fluid technology special ceramic material formulations have been qualified with high temperature resistance, low density, easy to clean and good mechanical properties.

OxiMaTec GmbH has been founded in 2005. Its core competence is based on the material and process development know how in combination with machining competence for highly complex geometrical design. OxiMaTec is specialised in the development of tailored materials for new applications. Transformation toughened and platelet reinforced materials based on alumina or zirconia are their speciality. The new zirconia matrix materials show high strength and fracture toughness. Furthermore, these materials do not show the hydrothermal instability as it is well-known for yttria stabilised zirconia. All materials developed within OxiMaTec are manufactured either by pressing/milling methods or by ceramic injection moulding processes. All processing steps are made in house, i. e. material composition as well as the feedstock for injection moulding are made in house with own recipes. The moulds for CIM come from the sister company “Graveurbetrieb Leonhardt”. Finally the ceramic parts are analysed within the analytical laboratory by different methods, including computer tomography investigations. Due to the fact that all materials are composed in house, it belongs to OxiMaTec’s core competences to supply coloured materials and products to watch and jewellery industry. Medical products are mainly based on alumina, zirconia and platelet reinforcement. For fluid technology special ceramic material formulations have been qualified with high temperature resistance, low density, easy to clean and good mechanical properties.

OxiMaTec GmbH has been founded in 2005. Its core competence is based on the material and process development know how in combination with machining competence for highly complex geometrical design. OxiMaTec is specialised in the development of tailored materials for new applications. Transformation toughened and platelet reinforced materials based on alumina or zirconia are their speciality. The new zirconia matrix materials show high strength and fracture toughness. Furthermore, these materials do not show the hydrothermal instability as it is well-known for yttria stabilised zirconia. All materials developed within OxiMaTec are manufactured either by pressing/milling methods or by ceramic injection moulding processes. All processing steps are made in house, i. e. material composition as well as the feedstock for injection moulding are made in house with own recipes. The moulds for CIM come from the sister company “Graveurbetrieb Leonhardt”. Finally the ceramic parts are analysed within the analytical laboratory by different methods, including computer tomography investigations. Due to the fact that all materials are composed in house, it belongs to OxiMaTec’s core competences to supply coloured materials and products to watch and jewellery industry. Medical products are mainly based on alumina, zirconia and platelet reinforcement. For fluid technology special ceramic material formulations have been qualified with high temperature resistance, low density, easy to clean and good mechanical properties.

OxiMaTec GmbH has been founded in 2005. Its core competence is based on the material and process development know how in combination with machining competence for highly complex geometrical design. OxiMaTec is specialised in the development of tailored materials for new applications. Transformation toughened and platelet reinforced materials based on alumina or zirconia are their speciality. The new zirconia matrix materials show high strength and fracture toughness. Furthermore, these materials do not show the hydrothermal instability as it is well-known for yttria stabilised zirconia. All materials developed within OxiMaTec are manufactured either by pressing/milling methods or by ceramic injection moulding processes. All processing steps are made in house, i. e. material composition as well as the feedstock for injection moulding are made in house with own recipes. The moulds for CIM come from the sister company “Graveurbetrieb Leonhardt”. Finally the ceramic parts are analysed within the analytical laboratory by different methods, including computer tomography investigations. Due to the fact that all materials are composed in house, it belongs to OxiMaTec’s core competences to supply coloured materials and products to watch and jewellery industry. Medical products are mainly based on alumina, zirconia and platelet reinforcement. For fluid technology special ceramic material formulations have been qualified with high temperature resistance, low density, easy to clean and good mechanical properties.
