INMATEC Introduces New Standard Feedstock INMAFLOW K2030

With INMAFLOW K2030, INMATEC Technologies GmbH/DE presents a new addition to its product portfolio. The newly developed standard feedstock is based on an alumina powder (99,7 %) and used to produce components by Ceramic Injection Moulding (CIM). INMAFLOW K2030 is characterised by a lower sintering temperature than comparable ceramic feedstocks based on Al2O3 powders of equivalent grade. In addition, high densities of the sintered parts can be achieved with the feedstock.

The binder system used in the new standard feedstock is INMAFLOW, developed by INMATEC. This established system provides excellent flowability during injection moulding. Good mould filling over long flow distances makes it possible to make components with complex geometries. INMATEC merges the unique properties of ceramics with the benefits of injection moulding. The company is leading in the development and production of ceramic feedstocks for use in the CIM process. INMAFLOW K2030 expands the wide product range of standard feedstocks, which now covers an even broader spectrum of requirements.
