Company profile
Based in Osterode am Harz since the year 2000, Hesse Instruments has specialised in heating microscopes, a laboratory measuring device for the thermo-optical examination of the morphometry of materials up to 1600 °C. With our small and dedicated team of qualified engineers and technicians we we cover the whole range of development, production, sales, commissioning and servicing of our products.
With the heating microscope, specimens can be measured contact-free above their melting point. Control and evaluation is done automatically with our heating microscope software, which analyses shadow images of the test specimen and determines geometric parameters and characteristic temperatures.
This makes our heating microscope suitable for determining the
- thermal expansion behaviour,
- sintering behaviour,
- softening behaviour,
- melting behaviour,
- wetting behaviour and
- viscosity behaviour (for glass-like melting materials)
of various materials.
The heating microscope is used in research, development and quality control in industry, as well as in research institutes and universities. In addition to investigating the melting behaviour of ashes, the heating microscope is mainly used in the glass and ceramics industry.
Thanks to our many years of experience, our extensive knowledge in the field of materials science and materials engineering, and our network of customers and cooperation partners, we have been able to continuously expand our application expertise and establish our position world-wide.
Hesse Instruments aim is to take heating microscopy to a whole new level.
