Steka is a medium sized manufacturer for ceramic components primary for electrical applications and is specialized in small- and medium-series production

Based in Innsbruck, Austria, we are a family owned company with a history going back to the year 1949. Since then we’ve been gaining a deep know-how in developing products, designing and making tools in our own tool shop. With 65 employees we supply our ceramics to are growing variety of technical applications. Customers benefit from a strong engagement of our engineering experts when it comes to working out the best solutions in the stage of product development as well as our network of strategic partners covering special requests in the field of technical ceramics.
In our production we use two shaping methods. Vacuum Extrusion and Uniaxial Powder Pressing – we are able to handle very small sizes with just a few gram up to parts of up to 1kg and more. Steatite and Cordierite are the main materials we produce, other materials we can offer on request.
