3DCERAM SINTO Opens a Site in the USA to Improve its Offer for Ceramic Additive Manufacturing

Using the unique laser stereolithographic technology, 3DCERAM SINTO has developed a complete offering to respond to their clients’ needs from materials development to the optimization of their 3D-printer range for R&D innovation centers to large scale industrial manufacturers of technical ceramics. In 2017, 3DCERAM joined the Japanese industrial group Sintokogio to accompany them in their diversification and growth. Through this relationship, 3DCERAM SINTO INC. has become a member of the Sinto America group, an USD 80 million company employing over 250 people across USA and Mexico in foundry, surface treatment and automation industries.

The new company 3DCERAM SINTI INC. will be based in Wallingford, Connecticut, and include a showroom to see the technology in action. The ability to showcase the technology to clients and produce parts on American soil was a priority for the group.  With good proximity to the aviation belt on the east coast and with major airports in CT and NYC nearby, this site will enable 3DCERAM SINTO to become the leader in the North American 3D-ceramic market and help create working relationships with universities and industry. Aimed at the aerospace, aviation, motor and biomedical industry, 3DCERAM SINTO INC. will be ready to accompany clients in the industrialization of ceramic 3D-printing.

General Manager Peter Durcan will be piloting the company with his team of technicians and sales support team. Richard Gaignon, CEO of 3DCERAM SINTO, and John Helm, CEO of 3DCERAM SINTO INC., agree that this development is very exciting for the group. Both are confident that the establishment of 3DCERAM SINTO INC. will facilitate growth and progress in the North American market, which is primed for the expansion of ceramic additive manufacturing.
