HYBRID Expo 2013 : Well Received by the Industry

The trade fair presents the full range of production and processing of multimaterial solutions – from materials research to processing procedures, machines and tools and through to the finished component. HYBRID Expo has already been well accepted in the industry. With big industry names like AdduXi, Evonik, Härter Stanztechnik, Kläger Spritzguss, Leicht and Müller or Otto Bihler Maschinenfabrik, important companies from all stages of the process chain have already registered for participation in the premiere. The focus of HYBRID Expo will be the subject of process acceleration in the manufacture of metal-plastic components. Plastic injection moulding, metal punching and forming technologies and innovative joining technologies will play a central role in this context. With the new event, the organisers Reed Exhibitions aim at closing a gap in the field of materials trade fairs. “With HYBRID Expo, we explicitly address all those branches of industry that use hybrid components. In addition to and beyond the electrical engineering sector, these are primarily automotive construction and the white goods segment”, says HYBRID Expo Event Director Markus Jessberger. The premiere of HYBRID Expo will take place parallel to COMPOSITES EUROPE. In the last seven years, the trade fair for composite materials has developed into one of Europe’s most important lightweight construction events, most recently recording 445 exhibitors and more than 8000 visitors. Together, COMPOSITES EUROPE and HYBRID Expo will present an overview of functionally integrated lightweight structures in the major application fields. (06/2013)
