Some 450 exhibitors from 25 countries are expected and more than 80 % of the available exhibition space has already been booked. COMPOSITES EUROPE 2015 is posting record numbers to kick off the tenth year of the event. About 11000 trade visitors are expected at the event. This year’s edition will again take place concurrently with the HYBRID Expo, which will display the complete process chain of the serial production of hybrid components. From automobile manufacturing to aerospace, building and wind-power economy all the way through to the construction sector: COMPOSITES EUROPE reflects the entire spectrum of the composites market. The focus will be on automation solutions that enable processes for high-volume manufacturing of composites components. The 1st International Composites Congress (IC) will take place as the opening event of COMPOSITES EUROPE for the first time and therefore simply replaces the International AVK Conference. Focussing on “Composites – on the Path to Becoming a Key Industry?”, international experts will discuss current topics which can be further enhanced during the subsequent tour of the COMPOSITES EUROPE fair. After the successful premiere of HYBRID Expo two years ago, the trade fair for hybrid components, their technologies and applications will take place for the second time parallel to COMPOSITES EUROPE. The fair will display the complete process chain of the serial production of hybrid components – from materials research to manufacturing and processing procedures, machines, plant and tools to the finished component. The subject of process acceleration in the production of metal-plastic and ceramicplastics composites is a particular focus of the trade fair. Plastic injection moulding, but also ceramic injection moulding, stamping and punching technology and innovative joining technologies will play a central role at HYBRID Expo.
