CeramTec/DE has acquired DAI Ceramics Inc. of Willoughby, Ohio/US.

Almatis, the world’s leading supplier of premium alumina for the refrac­tory, ceramic and polishing industries, an­nounced on 14 July 2015 that its shareholders, including majority owner Dubai internation­ al capital LLC (DIC), have signed an agree­ment to sell Almatis to OYAK, Turkey’s largest private pension fund.
