Micro CIM Parts Predestined for Medical Device Technology

Micro-injection moulding is used to describe the production of components whose weight is approximately between 0,01–0,5 g. Some parts are so small that they can only be seen with a magnifying glass. Micro-injection moulding differs from classic injection moulding in that it has a very small injection unit that is integrated in the injection moulding machine instead of the normal size unit. This injection unit is based on a different technology.

POWTECH Special Edition 2020 Cancelled – New Date for 2022

In May 2020, Nürnberg Messe/DE conducted an extensive survey of exhibitors and visitors to find out what they thought about POWTECH taking place in 2020. A promising number of customers had expressed their support for holding the event under adapted conditions. Then the concept of the POWTECH Special Edition was established in a very short time and launched on the market. The aim was to win 250–300 exhibitors for the concept. This met with recognition and approval from you and from partners.

Ceram UK Postponed from July to December 2020

Due to the ongoing and developing situation regarding COVID-19, Event Partners/GB, the show organisers, have made already in May 2020 the decision to move The Advanced Materials Show and Ceramics UK and their co-located events Battery Cells and Systems Expo and Vehicle Electrification Expo from July to 2–3 December 2020.

formnext 2020 – New C-Format

formnext 2020 is set to take place as scheduled in Frankfurt/DE from 10–13 November 2020, but with a revised innovative trade fair format including a comprehensive health protection concept and a new digital component. The leading international trade fair for additive manufacturing and modern industrial production is thus sending an important message to the Additive Manufacturing world and the exhibition industry as a whole. formnext 2020 will look different from the years before. Some visitors will still be affected by travel restrictions and will not be able or willing to travel to Frankfurt.

Ceramics Expo Postponed to 2021

Ceramics Expo 2020/US was planned for May 2020. The fair was canceled and replaced by the Ceramics Expo Connect Virtual Event Week – organized for 21–25 September 2020.

PCIM Announced Date for 2021

Because the PCIM Europe 2020 had to take place digitally. More than 4500 participants, over 25 700 started chats and 74 exhibiting companies made the PCIM digital days happen from 7–8 July 2020. The next fair is planned as usual in Nuremberg for 4–6 May 2021.

Messe München Celebrates Record Year of 2019

Messe München/DE closed the year 2019 with a new record sales volume of EUR 474,2 million. The EBITDA amounts to EUR 138,4 million. Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and CEO of Messe München, took a thoroughly positive look back at the year gone by: “2019 was the most successful financial year in the history of Messe München. The coronavirus pandemic shows how vulnerable the global economy is despite record results. As a company, we must therefore continue to develop innovative formats in order to stay competitive in future too.”

analytica 2020: the Leading Guide to the Smart Laboratory

From 31 March – 3 April 2020 it was planned to hold analytica on the fairgrounds of Messe München/DE. Already in March 2020, due to the increasing spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Europe and on the basis of the recommendations of the Bavarian State Government as well as of the responsible health authorities, Messe München postpone analytica to 19–22 October 2020.
